Gene Ziegler is an independent consultant, teacher, and higher-education professional. In his 35 year career, he has been Director of Information Technology for the W. P. Carey School of Management at Arizona State University, Vice President for Academic Affairs at American Sentinel University, Dean of the American Graduate School of Management, Chief Learning Officer for Corpedia Education, Chief Technology Officer for Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, and Director of the Academic Computing Center at Colgate University. He has taught at Colgate, Cornell, and Arizona State in Geography, Computer Science, and Information Technology. Gene has worked extensively as a private consultant for academic institutions interested in expanding their reach with distance learning. His strategic consulting clients have included The Wharton School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School Publishing, Cornell University, The Owen Management School at Vanderbilt, Thunderbird School of International Management, Arizona State's WP Carey School of Management, and Babson College. He is coauthor of an online training program for high-tech entrepreneurs and President of GIS Photo, LLC,, doing business as GoAerial.com, an aerial photography company operating in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
